Hammock Walk at Nexton Homes and Villas for Sale

Hammock Walk at Nexton is Ashton Woods' 55+ villa neighborhood in the North Creek part of Nexton, just off Nexton Parkway. The attached homes have two or three bedrooms and a one-car garage. Ashton Woods listings in October 2026 run from about 1,050 to 1,550 square feet.

Ashton Woods finished the first homes in early 2024, so most homes in the listing feed above are new or nearly new. We help buyers figure out whether a villa this size still fits how they live.

Villa Living or a Larger Del Webb Home?

Nexton has two 55+ neighborhoods. Del Webb Charleston at Nexton offers detached homes with up to five bedrooms and a full amenity center with pools. Hammock Walk keeps things simpler.

Its own amenities opened on November 22, 2025, and Nexton says they are for Hammock Walk residents only. They include walking trails past the ponds, pickleball courts and a dog park. Nexton's materials do not list a clubhouse or pool here, so if a pool is on your list, ask the sales team which Nexton-wide amenities come with ownership.

Is Every "Ranch-Style" Villa on One Floor?

Not always. Ashton Woods calls these ranch-style villas, but several of its 3-bedroom quick move-in homes are listed as 2-story plans with the primary suite on the main level. The 2-bedroom versions are single-story.

We walk the stairs with buyers and look at what is upstairs. A guest room up there works well for visits but less well for anyone who would need it every day. We also check the garage. Listings mention driveway room for two more cars, but bikes and golf clubs still need a home inside that single bay.

What Does the HOA Take Care Of?

The Nexton fee sheet dated January 2026 breaks down what Hammock Walk owners pay for.

  • Lawn care and exterior maintenance for the home
  • Common areas, parks, trails, pickleball courts and the Bark Park
  • $2,580 a year, billed monthly, plus $125 a year to the North Creek Master Association

How Close Is Medical Care?

The MUSC Health Nexton Medical Park is already open inside Nexton, with specialty clinics such as cardiology and neurology. A larger campus is under construction along Nexton Parkway. MUSC expects its cancer center to open in summer 2027 and a 70-bed hospital in 2028.
