Carolina Park is one of the most in-demand neighborhoods in Mount Pleasant, and it's easy to see why after a single tour. Buyers love being able to take a quick golf cart ride to Costco at The Bend at Carolina Park, or grab coffee at Front Porch Coffeehouse without leaving the community. Some of the newer sections still have younger trees growing in, but the Riverside lots run bigger and come with wetland buffers that feel more established. We wrote a full guide covering the neighborhood in more detail, which you can read in our complete post about living in Carolina Park.
The Village section puts you closer to your neighbors and a short walk from the Residents Club pool. Riverside sits farther out with bigger lots and water views. Bolden Park anchors the middle of it with a 20-acre lake and a walking trail along the shoreline. You'll deal with some construction dust in the newer phases, but most buyers tell me the trade-off is worth it. A fire station inside the community gives a lot of people real peace of mind.
I know the real costs tied to buying in Carolina Park. That includes HOA dues, flood insurance considerations, and the gap between Village and Riverside price tiers. If you want to see what's available, reach out and I'll set up a tour. We'll focus on homes that fit your budget and the section you like best. Data sources for this page include Town of Mount Pleasant records, Charleston County Assessor data, and FEMA flood maps.
